  The academics may mot have as much as a public school but this school provided a moral foundation, a sens3 of purpose and self adfiromarom. I am mixed race and gender nonbimary but the teachers here always taught me God made me the way I am, I did not even conceive of myself that way but I was taught I was part of the diversity of god’s kingdom, I attended UW Madison, Northwestern and UPenn after. At UW Madison I met peole who were truly dark about the world so I really csm3 back to my Iliana roots. I am disabled now in a wheelchair for mthe Army and MS but was able to feel purpose. I also now live in a Canadian town with many gender nonbimary Christians which has been such a gift and without Illiana searching for such a community would have never happened, the liberal arts basis here is excellent but like most schools, the science comment is difficult to find because of cost. It is a wonderful community which has been a model for me and a place where i learned joy.
